Our Film Synopsis

I did this film synopsis as it makes our final idea clear for the overall film and sets the scene and who the characters are.

I have learnt from this exercise as i now know how to write a film synopsis and it is for my own film idea.

Mixed up 

Jenny and Alex meet at a club. The people they are both with (there best friends), are extremely drunk and are very embarrassing. The next day at work, Alex gets a promotion and unknown to him, he becomes Jenny’s assistant.

Jenny often visits her local book shop and the audience gets to know the book shop owner. By becoming Jenny’s assistant, Alex has to accompany Jenny on every business trip she goes on. Jenny goes on a business trip to Oxford, (coincidently this is where she was brought up) so instead of staying in a hotel, Jenny and Alex stay at Jenny’s parents house. Alex meets all of Jenny’s family, including her sister, brother and cousin. Alex gets on very well with Jenny’s sister (Danielle) and cousin (Katelyn).

Alex and Jenny both organise a wedding. The audience assumes it is Alex and Jenny’s wedding. Jenny and Alex meet up and talk about a special place they can meet on the same day at the same time every year. But the last shot shows Jenny and the book shop owner getting married and Alex and Katelyn getting married.
