More Settings - Inside the Living Places

Inside Boys Flat - BATHROOM...

This will be used when we film the main male character getting ready to go out. I think this is a suitable place to shoot this as it looks modern and like somewhere a young adult would live.

In the background of the shot and by the side of the sink we will place male products so that the viewer can identify the difference between the girls room and the boys room.

I have learnt from this that setting is very important in the production of a film.

This is where the shot of the male lead will get out of the shower, you do not actually see this but you see his wet feet hit the floor as he steps out.

The bathroom is modern and simple. This helps to show that the male lead is a young adult because it suits the characters personality.
Inside Girls House - BEDROOM...

This will be where we film the female lead getting ready to go out, this is a suitable room as it is girly and the viewer will be able to identify the difference between this room and the bathroom that the male lead will be in.

I have learnt what shots are suitable and to make the distinction between male and female in setting is important.

I have linked the exterior and the interior of the settings quite well as i think they look convincing but they are in fact false. I have linked the outside of the boys flat with having a very modern and clean cut bathroom that looks appropriate for the style of flat that is featured. In addition, i have also done this with the girls setting as the outside of the house looks very quirky and cute and the inside has got a bright and funky designed wallpaper to go along with the outside of the building.

  1. You have made a very good style match between the exterior shots of the two homes and the interior rooms (even though this is a false connection). Can you explain how you have achieved this? Think, for example about the very modern bathroom - lots of glass, white, minimal design, walk-in shower, expensive-looking, etc.
