Preliminary Task - Film text job interview...

This is the first task that I was given to do to give me basic skills of camera work and learning the 180 degree rule and match on action. I had to have one match on action and some over the shoulder shots with characters saying a bit of dialogue.


I have learned from this task to correctly do match on actions... I think i could have improved on this as when the character walked across the room it switches from a mid shot to a long shot and I have not correctly edited it so it doesn't flow and looks wrong. In addition I feel that i have done i got job and this exercise set me up for the main filming task.

Preliminary Task - Print newspaper

News letter - This is my print version of a school newsletter...

This task was done to get me to learn how to manipulate images and use the correct language in the text. In addition, there were many things that I has to do to get this to look like a convincing, real news letter that would be sent around to parents in a school.    

I have learned from doing this task how i can edit things to what i want them to be and has made me think about the language of media and what is appropriate in this.
